Common defects of children waterborne paint after construction:

Causes:
1. Before construction, the surface treatment of the coating is not good, including oil, wax, dust, chemicals, etc. Or the construction is not timely after surface treatment.
2. Improper primer selection, primer hardness is too high, the surface is too slippery, will lead to primer and finish lose adhesion, resulting in peeling.
3. Smooth surfaces of coated objects may also cause flaking.
4. If the bottom layer is not completely dry, it will be coated with surface paint or varnish, which is easy to fall off.
Treatment methods:
1. Prior to construction, appropriate methods should be used to remove the surface of the coated object and remove dirt left during the cleaning process, and then immediately coated.
2 primer selection should have good adhesion and wettability.
3. If the surface of the coating is too smooth or the surface can be higher than the ground, appropriate treatment methods should be taken before construction.

Causes:
1. The surface of the coating is too rough and porous, and the surface treatment is improper, containing acid, alkali, oil, wax, etc. And not sealed with a sealing primer.
2. The film is damaged by rain or dew before completely drying.
3. Add too much thinner or some high-boiling solvent.
Treatment methods:
1. First clean the surface of the coated object, fill it with putty and polish it smooth, then apply the finish paint after applying the appropriate sealant.
2. The amount of thinner should be appropriate, not too much.
Waterborne paint for children is an environmentally friendly paint with water as diluent. Some people think that children's waterborne paint does not need to add curing agent and thinner, but this is a wrong concept.
Children's waterborne paint is cured or not, depending on whether it is a single component or two components. Waterborne coatings are divided into waterborne epoxy coatings and waterborne acrylic coatings. Waterborne epoxy coatings are two-component and definitely require hardeners. One - component waterborne acrylic coatings do not require hardeners. Two-component waterborne acrylic coatings require hardeners.
Water-based alkyd resin as the main film forming substance, water as the main diluent water-based coating as a single component. No hardener required. It has the characteristics of fast drying and excellent protective performance, and can be used as the bottom protective coating of metal substrate.
