Waterborne industrial paint basically is diluent with water, do not contain curing agent, diluent and a few dissolvent. It is a new type of environmental protection anticorrosive coating which is different from oil industrial coating.
Characteristics of waterborne industrial paint:
Waterborne industrial paint is widely used in Bridges, steel structures, ships, electromechanical, steel and other industries. Because of its energy saving and environmental protection, it will not cause harm and pollution to the human body and environment, so it is welcomed by users. It is not only the development direction of paint industry in the future, but also the replacement of oily paint.

The difference between waterborne industrial paint and ordinary waterborne paint
1. Resin system: ordinary water-based coating is composed of styrene-acrylic emulsion and pure acrylic emulsion resin, mostly single component. Industrial water-based coating systems include water-based alkyd resins, water-based epoxy esters, water-based epoxy resins, water-based acrylic polyurethanes, and different modified and assembled resin systems.

Industrial water-based coatings have high requirements on salt spray, impact resistance and adhesion. The difference between waterborne industrial paint and oily industrial paint:
1. Environmental performance VOC content of waterborne industrial coatings has advantages in this respect. Waterborne industrial coatings use water as solvent and low VOC content. During construction, it will not produce pungent smell and is more environmentally friendly. Organic solvent added to oil industrial paint will evaporate into the air during brushing and drying, directly stimulate human senses and endanger the health of construction workers. Therefore, the content of organic volatile matter in oil industrial coatings is high, and the environmental performance is poor. Long ventilation is required after construction.
2. Safety In storage and transportation, waterborne industrial coatings use water instead of organic solvents, safe and non-flammable. Risk factors and hassles in production and distribution are greatly reduced. The solvent gasoline and tannery water in oil - containing industrial paint are highly flammable substances and have hidden danger.
3. The modified water-based industrial paint evaporates quickly, and the surface of water-based industrial paint dries quickly, which is convenient for rapid construction. Due to its good environmental performance, move-in after construction reduces unnecessary trouble and saves time. Due to its organic solvents in the drying process will volatilize harmful gases, decoration or decoration after the need for a long time of ventilation and detoxification. It not only pollutes the air, and volatilizes not clear, residual VOC is harmful to human body. Therefore, it needs to be avoided for a long time before use, which is very troublesome.
