The difference between waterborne industrial paint and powder paint:
1. Compared with water-based coatings, powder coatings do not contain VOC, theoretical utilization rate of 99%, more environmental protection;
2. A coating thickness of powder coating is generally 60~ 80U, which is difficult to achieve in liquid;
3. At present, powder coating mainly adopts electric spraying, which is difficult to apply to all substrates. At present, metal substrates are mainly used. Liquids have no such restrictions.
Classification of waterborne industrial paints:
1. Acrylic water-based anti-rust paint is a very common water-based anti-rust acrylic paint is water-based iron red acrylic anti-rust paint. Waterborne iron red acrylic antirust paint is a self-drying coating with excellent adhesion, heat resistance, weather resistance, corrosion resistance and stain resistance. It can be used with alkyd, amino, nitro and other topcoats, and is superior to red lead phenolic antirust paint and red lead alkyd antirust paint in some properties.
2. Alkyd anti-rust paint is made of water-based alkyd resin, pigments, fillers, various additives and deionized water. Water as the dispersion medium, non-flammable, no pollution; Does not contain toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene and other benzene series, low VOC, formaldehyde, heavy metal content is lower than the national standard, no pungent smell, non-toxic to human body.
3. Epoxy water-based anti-rust paint can be used as a high performance water-based anti-rust intermediate paint matching with zinc rich primer, or as a primer matching with water-based paint alone. Also suitable for metal coating or zinc coating surface closed coating, used for mild to severe corrosion environment of steel structure surface, such as ships, containers, offshore platforms, docks and other Marine facilities, petrochemical pipelines, storage tanks, metallurgy, electric power and other industries of steel structure rust and corrosion prevention.
How to use waterborne industrial paint:
Waterborne industrial paint board shot peening pretreatment construction process → surface cleaning → precoating primer → drying → surface treatment → repairing primer → coating transition primer → drying → coating and marking → submit to inspection.
Acceptance method of waterborne industrial paint:
1. Rust removal, no grease filling or spraying.
2. The thickness of grease layer shall not be greater than 3mm (refers to the area greater than 0.01m2).
3. No cracking, bubbling and falling off of oil layer.
4. Each Angle should be flat, smooth, smooth transition.
5. Paint layer thickness should be consistent, no stratification, cracking phenomenon.
6. Rubber parts, circuits, decorative parts, glass and other non-paint parts shall not be stained with oil or oil mist
7. Error-free spray mottling.
8. Clean the chassis before painting primer.
9. The same batch of products have the same color and texture, and the color meets the requirements of the drawings. The color plate has been confirmed by the company.
Common problems of waterborne industrial paint:
Cause one: the bottom layer is not clean, such as the grease or wax on the bottom surface is not removed, and then the coating cannot adhere to the interlayer effect.
Cause two: The second spraying interval is too short, the primer drying time is not enough, resulting in water erosion on the wet paint surface, use primer or finish paint to soften. Corrective method: Polish the defective parts smoothly, but do not wear them, and then re-paint them.
